Service available whereby stallions and mares are
professionally produced by Edward Evans, on behalf of owners, in preparation of
been presented for grading in to the British Warmblood Society register OR
British Sports Horse register - grading shows are normally held in November and
August respectively.
Edward Evans has been producing stallions/mares for 13 years and his past record
of achievements speaks for itself e.g. last five stallions produced all graded
in to the BWBS Register; two of which were Champions of their respective
gradings.
Before agreeing to produce your stallion Edward will evaluate him on
conformation, movement, and jumping ability to determine whether or not he has a
realistic chance of grading. Assessment is continuous throughout his stay and
the owner is regularly briefed on progress.
Transport is available if required.
Testimonies from previous stallion/mare owners:
Tricia Johnson – regular writer for the Horse & Hound
“I was quite happy to send my young Hanoverian stallion, Parsons Rasputin, to
Edward Evans to be produced for the BWBS stallion grading. Not only did I
believe there was no-one else in the country to whom I would have entrusted this
much-loved horse, but I also knew no-one would do a better job. Rasputin was
given every chance, and in Edward's sympathetic hands, he produced a performance
on the day which astounded me and gained him full grading in this most exacting
test.”
Anne Haydon
– Bewes Stud proprietor
“Edward Evans offers an invaluable resource to the horse world. There are
very few people who are capable of producing stallions to the same standard as
the European breed societies. Upon my recommendation, Edward produced my home
bred Wild Dice Bewes, for owner Lisa Ellerker-Graham of Waterlands Park Stud, in
preparation of the BWBS Stallion Grading 2000. He not only won but also was
overall Supreme Champion. Edward has also produced many mares for BWBS grading;
three of my own through the years which have been champions and been awarded
Silver Medals. I have recommended Edward in the past and will continue to do so
as being a very professional, skilled and honest man in a very specialised
field.”
