Please note in cases of extreme adverse
weather conditions an additional charge of £1 /day will apply to mares
at grass to cover additional haylage costs.
VISITING MARES AND FOALS - will receive every possible care and attention but
are left at owners risk. No liability will be accepted for any accident, damage,
injury illness or loss to any mare or foal whilst at stud. Mares and foals can
only be taken on the understanding that it is the owner’s responsibility to
provide their own insurance cover. In such circumstances
deemed necessary when owners are unable to be contacted, veterinary assistance
will automatically be called to attend and any fees incurred will be chargeable
to the owner.
WORMING - Mares and foals will be wormed regularly whilst at stud. Owners will be charged for our
reimbursement of worming costs.
TRANSPORT SERVICE - cost and insurance to be negotiated
REGISTRATION - foals conceived by fresh/chilled/frozen semen are legible for
registration with the BWBS or similar British breed societies.
ALL ACCOUNTS MUST BE SETTLED BEFORE MARES LEAVE THE STUD
NB1 IN CASES OF ACCOUNTS NOT PAID FOALS
RESULTING FROM NON FULLY PAID STUD WORK/LIVERY WILL REMAIN THE PROPERTY OF
WESTPOINT STUD AND OWNERSHIP TITLE WILL STRICTLY ONLY BE TRANSFERED ON RECEIPT
OF FULL PAYMENT OF OUTSTANDING ACCOUNT.
NB2 ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS DETAILED ABOVE ARE DEEMED TO BE AGREED TO BY MARE
OWNER, OR PERSON LOANING MARE, AT TIME MARE ARRIVES AT STUD WHETHER OR NOT A
NOMINATION FORM/AI FORM HAS BEEN SIGNED IN RELATION TO THAT PARTICULAR MARE.
